FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

1️⃣ Can the joystick be mounted on the left or right?

Yes.

By default, the joystick is mounted on the right armrest.

If desired, it can also be installed on the left armrest.

If you prefer a specific position, please contact us after placing your order, so we can adjust the installation before shipping.

2️⃣ Can the wheelchair also be pushed manually?

Yes.

When the wheelchair is switched off, it can be set to manual mode by releasing the motor freewheel clutch.

This means the wheelchair can also be pushed by an attendant when needed.

3️⃣ Can the wheelchair be taken on the plane?

In most cases, yes.

Many airlines allow electric wheelchairs with lithium batteries, but advance notice is usually required.

Our batteries are:

  • removable lithium batteries
  • suitable for air transport

We recommend checking with your airline for the exact regulations before you travel.

If needed, we can provide battery certificates or transport information.

4️⃣ Can the battery be charged separately?

Yes.

The battery supports two charging methods:

  • Direct charging on the wheelchair
  • Separate charging after removing the battery

5️⃣ Does the wheelchair fit into a car trunk when folded?

Yes.

After folding, the wheelchair is compact enough for most car trunks and is well-suited for daily transport or travel.

6️⃣ Is the wheelchair also suitable for indoor use?

Yes.

The wheelchair is designed for both indoor and outdoor use:

  • Maneuverable indoors with a tight turning radius
  • Stable and powerful outdoors

7️⃣ Is the braking system safe?

Yes, very.

The wheelchair is equipped with an electromagnetic braking system:

  • When you release the joystick, the wheelchair brakes automatically
  • When stopped on a slope, the wheelchair does not roll back

8️⃣ Is an accompanying control possible?

On some models, a rear attendant controller can be installed, allowing an attendant to control the wheelchair.

This feature is typically available as an optional accessory.
